Raffles & Fairmont the Red Sea, positioned in the kingdom's groundbreaking Red Sea Project, will provide visitors access to a nature-focused resort. with 361 room, eleven distinct dining concepts, including overwater restaurant with views of the Red Sea and the mangroves, and a Spa. The resort will be situated next to an 18-hole championship golf course, reflecting Fairmont's association as a world class golf destination. it will set new standards in sustainable development, positioned on 200km of untouched coastline, an archipelago of more than 90 unspoiled island, dormant volcanoes, rich marine habitat, and ancient archaeological sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance & Inspection: Counter-check all processed items to ensure they are spotlessly clean, damage-free, and properly pressed before delivery.
  • Operational Leadership: Supervise daily laundry, dry cleaning, and valet activities, organizing work schedules and conducting daily briefings to align the team on guest priorities and VIP requirements.
  • Guest Request Fulfillment: Ensure meticulous adherence to specific guest instructions, such as light starch, specific folding techniques, or urgent service timelines.
  • Financial & Administrative Control: Accurately record guest charges in theOpera Property Management System, manage inventory for chemicals and supplies, and assist with departmental performance reports.
  • Safety & Maintenance: Regularly check laundry machinery (e.g., filters, press covers) for defects and ensure staff use all equipment and cleaning chemicals safely and properly.
  • Team Development: Train staff inLQA (Luxury Quality Assessment) standards and mentor the team on high-end textile care and spotting procedures. 

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of3 years in luxury laundry operations, with at least1 year in a supervisory role.Pre-opening experience is a critical requirement for this specific location.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in theOpera system and Microsoft Office. Deep knowledge of varied textiles, laundry chemicals, and stain removal techniques.
  • Education: Post-secondary education or a degree in Hospitality/Business Administration is preferred.
  • Core Attributes: Impeccable grooming, high attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a calm, gracious presence under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

 

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous and highly accurate in numerical data and report preparation.
  • Time Management: Proven ability to meet stringent deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Integrity: Possesses the highest ethical standards regarding financial controls and confidentiality.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for dealing effectively with departmental heads and external auditors.
  • Understanding of Ultra-Luxury guest expectations and brand alignment.
  • experience in project coordination, scheduling, and document control during pre-Opening stages.
  • Experience in pre-opening is a must.
  • A proactive, anticipatory approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Impeccable grooming and personal presentation aligned with Luxury standards.
