We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Guest Service Associate (GSA) for our Food & Beverage department in Mysuru, India. In this role, you will be the cornerstone of our guests' dining experience, delivering exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and hospitality. You will work collaboratively with our F&B team to ensure every guest interaction exceeds expectations, while demonstrating strong organizational skills and a commitment to operational excellence.

  • Welcome and greet guests with warmth and professionalism, creating a positive first impression that sets the tone for their dining experience
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to guest queries, complaints, and requests, resolving issues in a timely manner to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, specials, and beverage options, providing informed recommendations tailored to guest preferences
  • Execute flawless table setup, maintenance, and clearing procedures, ensuring all chinaware, glassware, and silverware meet quality standards
  • Take accurate guest orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams, ensuring precision and timeliness
  • Inspect and organize all operating equipment, linen, and condiments before service begins, reporting any malfunctions or concerns immediately
  • Maintain seamless coordination and cooperation with all hotel departments to maximize productivity, team morale, and guest satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation protocols, minimizing breakage, pilferage, and spoilage
  • Demonstrate familiarity with property layout, fire exits, and emergency procedures, prioritizing the safety and security of all guests and staff
  • Support the Food & Beverage Team Leader by assuming additional responsibilities as needed, including taking orders and advising guests during peak service periods
  • Escalate any suspicious activity or emergency situations to management immediately
  • Maintain a flexible approach to scheduling, including willingness to work varied shifts and extended hours as operational needs require
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in food and beverage service within a hospitality environment
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm, empathetic, and professional under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, menu items, and service standards
  • Proficiency in table service procedures, equipment operation, and basic food safety and hygiene protocols
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining composure and enthusiasm
  • Problem-solving abilities and decisiveness when addressing guest concerns or operational challenges
  • Flexibility and resilience to adapt to changing priorities and work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment
  • Basic knowledge of health, safety, and emergency procedures
