We are seeking a hands-on, guest-focused Food & Beverage Duty Manager to support daily operations across our conference & events spaces.
You’ll lead from the floor, ensuring smooth service delivery, supporting the team in real time, and driving consistently high standards across every guest experience, including the responsible delivery of alcohol service across all conference & events spaces.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support the Conference & Events Operations Manager in leading the day-to-day Food & Beverage operations across all meetings, conferences, and events, ensuring exceptional service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Lead from the front as a hands-on leader, providing guidance, coaching, and support to colleagues to drive a high-performing and service-focused team culture.
- Proactively manage guest feedback and service recovery, resolving concerns promptly and professionally to enhance the guest experience.
- Support stock control, stocktakes, and accurate billing in partnership with Finance
- Uphold and champion exceptional standards of presentation, grooming, cleanliness, and hygiene across all event operations.
- Work closely with the Culinary and Front Office teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient service execution.
- Ensure full compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements across events and functions.
- Leadership experience in Food & Beverage, conferencing, or high-volume hospitality
- Strong understanding of service standards in a premium guest environment
- Confident communicator with strong team leadership skills
- Proven ability to train, mentor, and develop team members to lift performance and capability
- Calm, organised, and solutions-focused under pressure
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Experience with Micros and Opera highly regarded
