We're looking for an exceptional Director of People and Culture to join our leadership team in Mysuru- Grand mercure Msyore and ibis Styles Mysuru, India. This is a visionary role that offers the opportunity to shape our organization's human resources strategies, foster a high-performance culture, and drive meaningful employee engagement across our growing organization. As a strategic partner to senior leadership, you will lead transformational People and Culture initiatives that align with our business objectives while championing an inclusive, innovative, and supportive workplace environment.
- Develop and implement strategic People and Culture initiatives that directly support organizational goals and drive business growth
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing People and Culture team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Drive comprehensive talent acquisition, retention, and development strategies to attract and nurture top talent aligned with organizational needs
- Oversee performance management processes and employee development programs to optimize productivity and career progression
- Spearhead organizational development and change management initiatives to enhance company culture, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness
- Collaborate with senior leadership to address complex employee relations issues, mitigate risks, and ensure transparent, fair resolution of workplace matters
- Analyze People and Culture metrics and leverage data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and measure program effectiveness
- Ensure full compliance with Indian labor laws, regulations, and employment practices, including the Labor Code, ESI, and PF requirements
- Manage the People and Culture budget effectively, allocate resources strategically, and demonstrate financial acumen in program delivery
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization, fostering an environment where all employees feel valued and empowered
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with C-suite executives and cross-functional leaders to align People and Culture strategies with business priorities
- Customize HR programs and policies to reflect the unique cultural context of Mysuru and India while maintaining global best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership or director-level role
- Proven expertise in strategic People and Culture planning, talent management, organizational development, and change management
- Deep knowledge of Indian labor laws, regulations, and employment practices, including the Labor Code, ESI, PF, and other statutory requirements
- Strong proficiency in HR analytics, data analysis, and ability to translate metrics into actionable business insights
- Demonstrated excellence in leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
- Budget management and financial acumen with experience in resource allocation and cost optimization
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion with experience designing and implementing related initiatives
