Are you passionate about culinary excellence and eager to advance your cooking career? We're looking for a dedicated Commis 2 to join our dynamic kitchen team in Istanbul, Türkiye. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced chefs in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment where your enthusiasm for food preparation and commitment to quality will directly contribute to exceptional dining experiences. - Prepare and cook a variety of hot foods and soups under the guidance of the Sous Chef, demonstrating attention to detail and consistency in quality
- Execute proper plating and presentation techniques to ensure dishes meet organizational standards and exceed customer expectations
- Maintain impeccable kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, adhering strictly to food safety requirements and hygiene protocols
- Assist with stock management, including monitoring inventory levels, organizing supplies, and communicating ordering needs to supervisors
- Inspect kitchen equipment and utensils regularly, reporting any faults or maintenance issues immediately to the Sous Chef
- Support kitchen operations efficiently by multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities in a high-pressure environment
- Maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene and ensure uniforms are worn correctly and kept clean at all times
- Attend all scheduled training sessions and on-the-job training programs to continuously enhance your culinary knowledge and skills
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen team members, promoting positive employee relations and a supportive work environment
- Follow all established kitchen procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure and organized workspace
**Required Skills:**
- Proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Strong plating and food presentation abilities
- Solid understanding of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure kitchen environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods

**Required Experience:**
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in a professional kitchen environment
- Demonstrated experience in food preparation and cooking under supervision
- Previous experience working as part of a kitchen team in a hospitality or food service setting

- Flexibility and adaptability to changing kitchen demands

**Education/Certifications:**
