As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a passionate and people-focused professional to join our team as an "Assistant Learning & Development Manager". In this role, you will support learning and talent development initiatives across the Tersane Istanbul ecosystem, contributing to the growth of our people and the success of our brands.
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of learning and development initiatives across Tersane Istanbul, Rixos Tersane Istanbul, and Aliée Istanbul.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a seamless and engaging employee experience.
- Assist in identifying training needs through collaboration with department leaders and HR Business Partners.
- Organize and monitor internal and external training programs, workshops, and development activities.
- Maintain training records, attendance reports, and learning documentation in line with company standards.
- Support the implementation and follow-up of leadership development, talent management, and succession planning initiatives.
- Facilitate selected training sessions and employee development workshops when required.
- Track training effectiveness and prepare regular reports on learning activities, participation, and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance training is completed and documented in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with operational teams to promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of training materials, presentations, and learning resources.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, internal communication activities, and employer branding projects related to learning and development.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in learning, development, and talent management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- 5 –7 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Human Resources.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an Assistant Manager or supervisory role.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of a third language is considered an advantage.
- Hospitality industry experience is preferred.
- Passion for learning, talent development, and employee engagement.
