About the V&A M+C Team
The global Ventures & Acquisitions (V&A) Marketing + Communications (M+C) team partners with the Accenture business and M+C, and the acquired company, to best deliver on the acquisition strategy and business case, foster cohesion and inspire our teams, so we are truly better together.
About the role
As part of the global Accenture M+C Deal Phase Team, you will be responsible for leading the M+C workstream for the due diligence phase of acquisitions including announcement communications, primarily in Americas.
Your responsibilities:
You will work across deals simultaneously, serving as overall PMO on each deal until handover to the M+C post-merger integration (PMI) Lead.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Adhering to best practices outlined in the deal phase playbook
Ensuring disciplined project management, and enforcing strict confidentialityÂ
Leading the due diligence activity including completing due diligence analysis, providing status updates, leading a due diligence workshop with the target and presenting due diligence M+C findings
Working with the assembled Marketing & Communications team, and Deal Sponsors, to build core messages around the rationale behind each acquisition
Hosting weekly calls for each acquisition with relevant M+C team members
Working with the Brand team on the brand transition plan and presenting it to business sponsors
Managing the creation of an integrated communications plan that maximises opportunities and reduces risk, and co-ordinating announcement preparation
Ensuring localisation approach and translations are included, where applicable
Setting the team up for a seamless handover to the PMI team, identifying areas that may require explicit focus during the integration
Positioning V&A M+C as a strategic and expert partner that provides guidance and delivers best practices for successful M+C deal diligence and announcement of each Accenture acquisition
Preferred experience:
Around 6 years of working in marketing and communications. Experience of working with acquisitions as part of a large global organization or remote team would be valuable.
Managing multiple stakeholders to deliver on time and in line with best practices
Managing and influencing senior stakeholders
Key message development
Finding and implementing solutions to complex business challenges
Working as part of a remote team, preferably in a global role
Minimum required education: High School Diploma.
Advanced English written and spoken.

Preferred skills:
Strong written and oral communication skills. The ability to present and communicate ideas clearly and persuasively at all levels to multiple audiences including Accenture employees, leadership and acquired company employees.
Strong project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet milestones, tight deadlines and communicate status on concurrent projects
Excellent negotiation, influence, mediation, conflict management and executive stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, and prioritize workload and activities
Good attention to detail and the ability to digest complex information
Sensitivity to the cultural variances across different countries
Willingness to participate in virtual meetings outside of regular business hours to accommodate other time zones
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related
