As a Custom Software Engineer, your day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. You engage in collaborative environments that emphasize agile methodologies and modern development frameworks to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software. Your work is focused on meeting unique business requirements through innovative and high-quality software development practices, contributing to the overall success of projects and organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Maintain and enhance existing software applications to improve performance and user experience.
- Document software designs, processes, and code to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Checkpoint Next Generation Firewall.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and firewall management.
- Experience in configuring and troubleshooting firewall policies and rules.
- Knowledge of intrusion prevention systems and threat management.
- Familiarity with VPN technologies and secure remote access solutions.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex security incidents and vulnerabilities.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Checkpoint Next Generation Firewall.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A Min 15 years of full time education is required.
