Product Manager - Energy Trading

We are looking for aProduct Manager - Energy Trading to head the delivery of a citizen development platform that enables business users to build, document, and manage low-code/no-code applications in a governed environment, serving the power, utilities, and renewables sector.

Responsibilities

• Manage the platform by organizing requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation with business and development stakeholders
• Build and deliver thorough training sessions to prepare business users and stakeholders for platform use and best practices
• Enable cross-departmental communication to define project objectives and ensure a common understanding of platform capabilities
• Assist the design and development process by matching product features to shifting business needs and regulatory requirements
• Drive user acceptance testing efforts to confirm solutions align with established requirements and quality benchmarks
• Partner with support and operations teams to maintain smooth platform upkeep and consistent performance
• Track and handle stakeholder expectations across the project lifecycle, maintaining transparency and prompt issue resolution
• Support ongoing enhancement of training materials and enablement approaches using user feedback and platform changes
• Collaborate with a team of 3-5 colleagues and coordinate with third-party vendors when needed to achieve project goals

Requirements

• 10-18 years of combined IT experience, with solid grounding in product management, product life cycle, product roadmap, and product vision
• Deep knowledge of energy trading and requirements analysis
• Ability to connect technical and business viewpoints to keep platform capabilities aligned with user needs
• Strength in stakeholder management, weighing varied expectations from business and technical groups
• Experience creating and delivering training programs suited to different user groups and skill levels
• Skill in converting complex business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications for development teams
• Proven track record of driving cross-functional teamwork and enabling strong communication across multiple departments
