Local CDL-A Intermodal Driver – Good Pay | Home Daily

Join a dedicated intermodal operation in the St. Louis area withdaily home time, day and night shift opportunities, and freight operating within a300-mile radius. Drivers haul containers on chassis with a mix of drop-and-hook, live loads, live unloads, and preloaded freight.

Pay Details

• $1,100+ average weekly pay
• $0.56 per mile on loaded and empty miles
• $40 + mileage on loads with 1-49 loaded miles
• Additional$20 pay as applicable
• Pay is based on loads completed and paid in increments
• Paid weekly

Job Details

• Local dedicated intermodal operation
• Home daily
• Freight operates within a300-mile radius
• Containers secured on chassis
• Mix ofdrop-and-hook, live load, live unload, and preloaded freight
• No hand-unload freight
• Slip-seat operation
• Day cab equipment
• Drivers must remain flexible for traffic and weather conditions

Shift Details

• Day and night shifts available
• Schedule based on operational needs
• Home daily
• Drivers may be required to adjust schedules based on freight volume, traffic, and weather

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• Must be at least 22 years old
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions
• No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years
• Must meet DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently for driving, communication, and required documentation
