Senior Product Manager, Aetna One Advocate (A1A)Â
Position SummaryÂ
The vision behind Aetna One Advocate is to serve people as the trusted guide that creates a more connected health care journey. Â
Today, healthcare still feels fragmented. People have to figure things out on their own, repeat their story, and manage work that the system should carry for them. A1A exists to change that by connecting data, people, and processes into a guided experience that follows through.Â
This role is an opportunity to own a critical slice of that journey. Â
As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead the strategy, solutioning, and execution of a value stream within the DDAT A1A product team, shaping the end-to-end experience and ensuring the work delivered drives meaningful outcomes for members, advocates, clients, and Aetna.Â
From defining and prioritizing the problems that matter most to ensuring solutions deliver real impact, you will operate across teams, systems, and stakeholders to move work forward while helping strengthen a product mindset across how we build and deliver.Â
Primary ResponsibilitiesÂ
Drive Product Strategy & OutcomesÂ
- Define the strategy, outcomes, and roadmap for your value stream aligned to the A1A visionÂ
- Translate complex business and customer problems into clear, value-driven priorities Â
- Partner with engineering, design, business, and data to deliver meaningful product solutionsÂ
- Ensure work is tied to measurable value (customer outcomes, business impact, operational efficiency)Â
- Continuously evaluate where to invest, pivot, or stop based on data, discovery, and resultsÂ
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational workflows, business strategy, and key use cases, and use that context to inform product decisionsÂ
- Ensure alignment between your value stream and broader A1A strategy, connecting work to end-to-end outcomes and enterprise valueÂ
Delivering Through InfluenceÂ
- Work across multiple teams and backlogs to ensure the right work happens, even when you don’t own all the piecesÂ
- Identify dependencies, surface tradeoffs, and drive decisions to keep progress movingÂ
- Drive cross-functional decision-making and alignment on strategy, priorities, and execution across business, operational, and technical partners and stakeholdersÂ
- Engage leadership and stakeholders to gather feedback and evolve strategy and roadmap over timeÂ
Drive Discovery and Product ThinkingÂ
- Lead ongoing product discovery to understand member, advocate, client, and business needsÂ
- Evaluate current product state using customer feedback, product analysis, data, and stakeholder inputÂ
- Incorporate market, industry, and competitive insights to inform product directionÂ
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights across research and data to shape product direction, validate decisions, and refine prioritizationÂ
- Develop and communicate discovery readouts that synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights, including research, product data, and market context, to inform stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and leadershipÂ
- Model and reinforce a product mindset across teams, helping drive change and evolve how product is practiced within A1A and across AetnaÂ

- Strong product judgment with the ability to prioritize based on value and make balanced, insightful decisions considering both product and business impactÂ
- Ability to quickly understand product, operational, market, and business contextsÂ
