Dental Assistant/Receptionist - Maven Dental Port Lincoln

Maven Dental Port Lincoln is looking for a Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our supportive team on acasual basis.

If you enjoy working with people, take pride in delivering great patient care, and like the variety of working across both clinical and reception duties, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a dual-role position where you'll spend most of your time assisting chairside while also supporting reception when needed. You'll become an important part of a close-knit team that works together to create a welcoming and professional experience for every patient.

As a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, you'll help keep both the clinical and front-of-house sides of the practice running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing chairside assistance across a range of dental procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining high infection control standards
• Sterilising instruments and ensuring equipment is ready for use
• Welcoming patients and creating a friendly, professional experience
• Scheduling appointments and managing the practice diary
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records
• Answering phone, email and in-person enquiries
• Supporting the wider team wherever needed throughout the day

To succeed in the role, you will bring:

• Previous Dental Assistant or Receptionist experience (highly regarded)
• A positive, hardworking attitude and real care for patients
• Clear, friendly communication and a team-first approach
• A commitment to ongoing learning and development
• A valid SA Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
• Flexible availability to pick up shifts Monday to Friday
