We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our team and contribute to the Enterprise Heat Project, delivering smart home climate solutions. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a large new feature, ensuring its smooth and efficient integration into the product.Â
You will assess current processes, identify areas for improvement, and adapt workflows to meet tight timelines and evolving project needs. Working closely with the team, you will ensure high quality and bring real impact to the Customer’s product.Â

Our Customer is a leading European supplier of eco-friendly, energy-efficient indoor climate solutions. They aim to provide modern climate control in all types of buildings by using renewable energy sources and the latest technology.
PROJECT
Our project involves the development of smart home climate solutions for a client operating in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) sector. Together with the client, we provide smart climate solutions featuring wireless connectivity and intelligent control for any type of property, including apartment blocks, industrial buildings, hotels, or country houses, to help reduce energy consumption for our client’s customers and society at large. Â

The team is responsible for developing and maintaining universal electronics and firmware platforms. Â
The mission of the project is to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure solutions that accelerate time-to-market for new products while supporting the company’s global vision of transitioning to energy-efficient and sustainable technologies.
- Review and analyze system specifications and user stories to understand software requirementsÂ
- Support and design, comprehensive, and well-structured test documentationÂ
- Prepare testing environments, including setting up the necessary software and hardware for test executionÂ
- Apply test design techniques to create robust test cases that maximize test coverageÂ
- Conduct manual functional, integration, regression testingÂ
- Identify, log, and track defects in bug tracking systemÂ
- Perform re-tests to ensure defect fixes and improvements are working correctlyÂ
- Validate test results, ensuring the software meets acceptance criteria and user expectationsÂ
- Communicate test progress, results, and any issues found clearly and promptly to relevant stakeholdersÂ
- Document detailed testing reports and provide feedback on usability, performance, and overall software quality
- 5+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer Â
- Solid knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologiesÂ
- Experience with bug tracking and test management systemsÂ
- Strong understanding of various types of testing: functional, integration, regression, user acceptanceÂ
- Good knowledge of agile testing practices and environments (Agile, Scrum)Â
- Experience with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or similarÂ
- Upper-Intermediate level of EnglishÂ
WOULD BE A PLUSÂ Â
- Basic understanding of scripting or programming languagesÂ
- Basic experience with Unix platformsÂ
