Maintenance General Labour Technician - 12 months FTC

Maintenance General Labour Technician

Williams F1 Team is looking for a Maintenance General Labour Technician to join our facilities team. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting skilled maintenance technicians with the day-to-day work that keeps our buildings, equipment, and grounds safe, functional, and looking their best.

You'll get stuck into a broad mix of tasks, from painting and furniture moves to routine filter changes and general repairs, with the chance to take on more carpentry or plumbing work as your skills and confidence grow.

What you'll be doing

Assisting Maintenance Technicians

• Helping with painting projects, from surface prep and taping through to priming and applying coatings
• Moving, assembling, and disassembling furniture and equipment for office moves or reconfigurations
• Carrying out routine filter changes (HVAC, water, air handling units, and so on) on a scheduled basis
• Moving, transporting, and properly disposing of items, debris, and waste in line with site procedures and safety regulations
• Providing general labour support on maintenance and repair projects led by senior technicians

Building Maintenance

• Carrying out basic building upkeep, including minor repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance
• Spotting and helping fix issues such as leaks, worn fixtures, damaged flooring, or structural concerns
• Supporting seasonal tasks such as snow removal and gutter cleaning as needed

Carpentry (as skills allow)

• Basic carpentry work, such as repairing or building shelving, doors, frames, and other wood structures

Plumbing Maintenance (as skills allow)

• Basic plumbing tasks, including unclogging drains, replacing washers and gaskets, and fixing minor leaks
• Keeping an eye out for and reporting any plumbing issues around the facility

What we're looking for

• A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to get involved across a range of tasks
• Good attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
• Any experience in carpentry, plumbing, or general building maintenance is a bonus, but not essential
• A reliable, team-focused attitude, supporting technicians and colleagues across the site
