Production Preparation Operator – Cable Cutting (f/m/x)

Anton Paar develops, manufactures, and distributes high-precision measuring instruments as well as automation and robotics solutions worldwide. For our production preparation team in electronics manufacturing, we are looking for a reliable team member to provide long-term support in the area of cable cutting. After comprehensive training, you will take on clearly defined tasks and help ensure that our production team is reliably supplied with prepared materials.

• Machine-assisted preparation and cutting of cables, wires, and heat-shrink tubing according to specified production orders
• Operation of our semi- and fully automated machines after appropriate training
• Performing basic setup, inspection, and maintenance tasks
• Providing and preparing the materials required for ongoing production
• Carrying out logistics and inventory activities
• Carefully following defined work procedures and quality standards

• A technical qualification is not required – reliability, accuracy, willingness to learn, and an interest in technical topics are what matter to us
• Previous experience in production, assembly, manufacturing, or a similar environment is an advantage
• Enjoyment of practical, clearly structured, and repetitive tasks
• Willingness to learn how to operate our machines and follow our processes
• A careful and conscientious approach to work
• Sufficient German language skills to safely understand work instructions and production orders
• Team spirit and a strong sense of responsibility

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 2.300,-- (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring.
