Associate Distinguished Engineer, Cloud Architecture

REQUIREMENTS:

• 15+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Cloud Operations, Platform Engineering or Infrastructure
• Strong experience in Cloud/Solution Architecture and Cloud Operations leadership
• Strong expertise in AWS, Azure and/or GCP, with experience in at least two major cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience in multi-cloud architecture, scalability, security, resiliency and cost optimization
• Experience with Cloud Operations, DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering and automation
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD, monitoring, observability and incident management
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security, backup, disaster recovery and business continuity
• Experience with Cloud Governance, compliance, service management, ITIL and operational standards
• Experience with Cloud Cost Management, capacity planning, resource optimization and FinOps
• Experience leading cloud architecture reviews, technical assessments and transformation initiatives
• Strong team leadership and experience managing cloud architects, engineers and global delivery teams
• Client-facing experience with excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions and drive architecture decisions

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the Cloud Operations Centre of Excellence and manage cloud architecture, engineering and operations teams
• Define cloud operations strategy, architecture standards, governance framework and technology roadmap
• Design secure, scalable, resilient and cost-effective multi-cloud solutions
• Drive cloud operations, automation, monitoring, incident management and operational excellence
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering and FinOps initiatives
• Establish cloud operating models, service management processes, KPIs and SLAs
• Lead architecture reviews, technical assessments, solution design workshops and transformation initiatives
• Drive standardization and automation across cloud provisioning, configuration, monitoring, security, backup and disaster recovery
• Collaborate with senior client stakeholders, infrastructure, application, cybersecurity and enterprise architecture teams
• Identify and address cloud performance, security, availability, scalability and cost challenges
• Provide technical leadership during critical incidents, RCA and service improvement initiatives
• Develop reference architectures, operating procedures, architectural patterns and best practices
• Mentor cloud teams and drive capability development, training and certification initiatives

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
