Gartner’sCSO Strategy & Operations Team strives to help everyCSO service team increase client value and retention.  Welead strategic initiatives designed toequip and enable service associates & leadershiptoeffectively support our clients andachieve rapid gains in Retention Results.  

The Operations Program Manager is a key member of theCSO Strategy & Operations teamwho will contributeto the development, execution and management of programs andwill partner across a broad range of internal stakeholders and partners. 

  • Lead initiatives andidentify opportunities to increase performance against proven practices and accelerate client retention. Actions include assessing top leader&associateperformance,identifying bestpractices and translating those into actionable guidance andenablement resources to supportproven practice and retentionperformance. 

  • Collaborate across Sales, Product,Technology, and Insights to bring solutions / programs to ourservice teams in a coordinated way.  

  • Work closely with GS&D Ops, Sales Leaders, other Team NCVIPartnersandtheService delivery teams to drive execution of these solutions /programs as well astomonitor todetermine ongoing effectiveness 

  • Identify and mitigate key strategic risks related to process initiatives and retention performance acrossGartner’s products and practices 

  • Key role in the production of operational and planning reports/presentationsto senior business leaders to effectively link results with business strategy (quarterly Ops reviews,Monthly Business Reviews, OC Update meetings, etc.)  

  • Conduct analytics(qualitative & quantitative)&monitor key businessdriverstoidentify and drive operational improvements,provide actionable recommendations, drivetransparency of results, and ensure informed decision making. 

  • Cultivate strong and mutually respectful relationships acrossGS&D Ops, Sales Leaders, other Team NCVIPartnersandtheService delivery teams.  

  • Partner withGS&D Ops, Sales Leaders, other Team NCVIPartnersandtheService delivery teams to solve problems andidentify business improvement opportunities 

Requirements:  

  • This person will work with the teamsacrossCSO, including both GTS and GBS. Aworking knowledge of theGartner’s product suite will be beneficial  

  • Strong relationship-building skills: Able to effectively partner withassociates,leadersand Team NCVI partnersto influence in a matrixed environment  

  • Excellent analytical skills; Ability to analyze large datasets and translate raw information intosuccinct &actionable insightsthatcan be easily understood and used by the organization. Includes creation of PPT slides forsenior leadership consumption. 

  • Proven ability to understand business initiatives and challenges, and to recommend business solutions using fact-based analytics  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to create and deliver effective decks andemails (consumable bymultiple levels of staff, up to and including the executive level)  

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams andlarge amounts of detail simultaneously  

  • Program management experience: Ability to organize and track complex projects, keep self and others ontrack andidentify emerging issues.
