Requirements

• Experience : 13+ years
• Relevant years of experience in software engineering, solution design, and enterprise application architecture.
• Strong experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale Java applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience with microservices architecture and modern distributed application design.
• Strong understanding of microservices design patterns, service discovery, API gateways, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
• Proven experience designing RESTful APIs, enterprise integrations, and service contracts.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and architectural best practices.
• Experience working with both monolithic and microservices-based architectures.
• Proven experience modernizing legacy applications and migrating monolithic systems to microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, Palantir AIP, Ontology, and Workshop.
• Experience architecting and delivering AI-powered enterprise applications using Palantir and related AI platforms.
• Good understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI workflow architectures.
• Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into enterprise business applications.
• Experience conducting POCs, technical feasibility studies, architecture spikes, and evaluations of emerging technologies.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience designing data models and database schemas.
• Hands-on experience with schema migrations, query optimization, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and database performance tuning.
• Experience defining data integration and data governance approaches across applications.
• Good understanding of AWS and/or Azure cloud architectures.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and tools such as Terraform.
• Experience supporting CI/CD implementations using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Understanding of application monitoring, observability, logging, and operational support requirements.
• Experience with enterprise messaging and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, or similar messaging technologies.
• Understanding of asynchronous communication patterns and distributed transaction management.
• Strong cloud architecture and solution design capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain solution architecture, technical standards, design principles, and technology roadmaps for enterprise applications.
• Lead architecture and design discussions across product, engineering, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Architect and develop cloud-native enterprise solutions using Java, Spring Boot, containerization, and modern deployment patterns.
• Design scalable APIs, service contracts, integration patterns, and event-driven architectures.
• Provide technical leadership and solution guidance to development teams, ensuring implementations align with architectural standards, best practices, and business objectives.
• Lead the design and delivery of major feature enhancements and complex technical initiatives from solution definition through implementation and deployment.
• Act as the technical escalation point for complex architectural and development challenges.
• Conduct design reviews and mentor engineers on architecture, software design, and development best practices.
• Architect and support AI-powered business applications using Palantir Foundry, Palantir AIP, Ontology, Workshop, and other emerging AI frameworks.
• Design and integrate AI/LLM capabilities into enterprise applications, including Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG, and AI workflow architectures.
• Lead Proofs of Concept (POCs), innovation initiatives, technical evaluations, and architecture spikes for emerging technologies.
• Evaluate new AI platforms, frameworks, tools, and technologies and recommend suitable solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to define deployment, monitoring, CI/CD, observability, and operational requirements.
• Design and support cloud-native architectures across AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Define scalable and resilient microservices architectures, including service discovery, API gateways, distributed systems, and asynchronous communication patterns.
• Design database architectures and data models using PostgreSQL, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Support database schema design, migrations, query optimization, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and performance tuning.
• Define data integration and governance approaches across enterprise applications.
• Design and implement messaging and event-driven solutions using technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, or similar platforms.
• Ensure architecture compliance with enterprise security, governance, regulatory, and operational requirements.
• Support modernization of legacy applications and migration from monolithic to microservices-based architectures.
• Drive technical innovation and experimentation initiatives while maintaining alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Provide architectural leadership, technical direction, and decision-making across complex enterprise technology initiatives.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
