Shape reliable Linux operations while solving the challenges behind them

Combinehands-on 2nd Level operations with 3rd Level technical ownership. You will keep our Linux environments stable, secure and performant while solving complex issues and driving automation, optimization and continuous improvement.

Your tasks

• Operations & support: Manage incidents, service requests and changes across RHEL-based and Debian environments, including escalations, root-cause analyses and problem management.
• Monitoring & performance: Monitor systems with Zabbix, resolve alerts and performance issues, and drive performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Deployment & automation: Deploy Linux across Azure, vSphere and Proxmox and develop automation using Terraform, Packer, Puppet, Ansible and Git.
• Lifecycle & patching: Manage system lifecycle, patching and upgrades, including administration and improvement of Red Hat Satellite.
• System administration & security: Manage Linux services, storage, networking, access and AD integration, and contribute to system hardening and certificate management.
• Infrastructure services: Operate and improve Linux-based services and platforms, including NFS, Samba, Apache/nginx, Postfix, Docker, Proxmox/Ceph, DNS, phpIPAM and GitLab.
• Backup & recovery: Manage backup and restore activities with Veeam and contribute to disaster-recovery concepts, testing and documentation.

Your profile

• Several years of experience administeringRHEL-based and Debian Linux systems in enterprise environments, including advanced troubleshooting.
• Strong Linux administration skills coveringsystem services, storage, networking, file services and performance.
• Experience withautomation and Infrastructure as Code, using tools such as Git, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Packer and Bash.
• Knowledge ofLinux security and integration, ideally including AD integration, SELinux, SSH and PKI/certificates.
• Structuredanalytical and problem-solving skills, combined with experience in ITIL-based support processes and Linux lifecycle management.
• Experience with technologies such asAzure, vSphere, Proxmox/Ceph, Zabbix, Veeam or Red Hat Satellite is an advantage; Linux certifications are welcome.
• Ahands-on, collaborative mindset, reliable documentation habits and very good English skills;
