IT Support Engineer / IT Support Technician - Part-Time

Alongside is a Portuguese company that partners with international organizations to build and scale exceptional tech teams.

We are looking for anIT Support Engineer / IT Support Technician to provide remote support to a client in the UK, on a part-time and flexible basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote support to users in aMicrosoft 365 environment.
• Provide support forOutlook, Teams, Office and Microsoft Defender.
• Manage users and permissions.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day IT issues.
• Set up and configure new PCs and software.
• Provide support for email security solutions, namelyMimecast.
• Remotely monitor endpoints usingRMM tools, ideallyNinjaOne.
• Support hardware management and ordering.
• Document basic IT processes.

• Around2-4 years of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk L2 or similar roles;
• Hands-on experience supportingMicrosoft 365 environments;
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work independently and provide effective support remotely;
• Good communication skills and astrong level of English,for interaction with the client;
• A proactive and service-oriented approach.

Experience with any of the following will be considered a plus:

• Mimecast
• NinjaOne or other RMM platforms
• Cyber Essentials
• Microsoft Defender
• Endpoint and device management

• Part-time engagement - approximately 10 hours per month
• 100% remote (based in Portugal)
