POSITION OVERVIEW: 

As a Cashier, you are the face of our store,providing exceptional customer service and ensuring every guest has a positive shopping experience. We are looking for a friendly, dependable individual to join our team. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, communicates effectively, and performs well under pressure. A positive attitude, teamwork, and a strong commitment to service are essential for success in this role. 

Candidates must be able to multitask, stay composed in fast-paced environments, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Customer service, retail sales and handling point of sale transactions where you greet customers and help them have a pleasant shopping experience are key to the role. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary: 

• Provide exceptional customer serviceandgreetallof ourcustomers. 

• Responsible for the appearance ofstore. Ensure that it is clean, neat,organized and provides a positive shopping experience for all. 

• Responsible foraccuratepoint of sale (POS) customer transactions. 

• Responsible forthe stocking andcleaning of the store. 

• Maintain the cleanliness and management of the gas pumps andoutside appearance of the store. 

• Provide support to team members and promote a positive team environment. 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks at once.

• Excellent communication skills. 

• Previous POS experience, retail sales, gas stationattendant or customer service is a plus. 

• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours including evenings,weekends and holidays on a rotational basis. 

• Work Cardsrequired forjurisdiction must be provided prior to the start date. 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities. 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS 

• Valid Health Card 

• Valid Alcohol Awareness Card 

LANGUAGE SKILLS 

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules,operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also berequired. 

REASONING ABILITY 

Ability to applycommonsense understanding to carry out instructionsfurnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
