Technical Service Specialist – Volkswagen Germany (m/f/d)

AtAxalta, we develop, manufacture and support innovative coating systems that protect and enhance products worldwide. For ourVolkswagen customer site in Germany, we are looking for aTechnical Service Specialist who will act as the technical interface between Axalta and the customer, ensuring flawless application, quality, and continuous improvement of our products in production.
Your Role
You will be responsible for theexecution, monitoring, and optimization of Axalta product application at the customer plant, ensuring stable processes, high product quality, and strong technical collaboration with the customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure strict compliance withEnvironment, Health & Safety regulations on site
- Providetechnical direction and hands‑on support to Axalta and customer teams regarding Axalta products and application processes
- Optimizeapplication and process setups for best possible product performance
- Respond tocomplex technical questions and process-related issues
- Analyze product and process data and proposequality improvement measures
- Monitor and adjustproduct properties (e.g. viscosity, pH value) andapplication parameters as required
- Track keyquality indicators (appearance, gloss, color measurement, etc.) and implement corrective actions
- Analyze product defects anddocument quality incidents
- Support theintroduction of new Axalta products, including full technical documentation
- Represent Axalta intechnical customer meetings
- Prepareaccurate technical reports and demand‑planning related data (forecast, consumption, stock levels)
- Managematerial stock and ordering to ensure uninterrupted production
- Collaborate closely with Axalta and customertechnical and manufacturing teams
- Take on additional reasonable responsibilities as required
Your Profile
- University degree (preferably in a technical discipline)
- Strong knowledge ofEHS regulations
- Solid understanding ofAxalta products and application methods
- Experience withcoating measurement systems (e.g. WaveScan, color position, gloss, hardness)
- Proven experience inproblem solving, root cause analysis, and color adjustments
- Strong communication skills across all levels of a customer organization
- Structured, self‑motivated team player with a hands‑on mindset
