- Teach nursing courses in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings.
- Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise nursing curriculum to ensure alignment with program outcomes, accreditation standards, and current nursing practice.
- Prepare course syllabi, lesson plans, instructional materials, examinations, and learning activities that support student engagement and achievement.
- Evaluate student performance through written assignments, examinations, clinical observations, simulation activities, and competency assessments.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of attendance, grades, clinical evaluations, competencies, and other required documentation.
- Provide academic advising, mentoring, and support to promote student recruitment, retention, progression, and graduation.
- Participate in curriculum review, program assessment, accreditation activities, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist with student recruitment events, orientation programs, and community outreach activities.
- Select and recommend textbooks, instructional resources, and educational technologies that enhance student learning.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with clinical agencies and community healthcare partners.
- Participate in faculty meetings, division meetings, college committees, and institutional governance activities.
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing practice, educational methodologies, healthcare trends, and regulatory requirements through professional development and continuing education.
- Review and recommend revisions to nursing program and institutional policies and procedures as appropriate.
- Support compliance with institutional policies, state regulations, and nursing accreditation standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
