Local CDL-A Intermodal Driver – $5,000 Bonus | Home Daily

Earn$1,400-$1,800 per week with daily home time and a$5,000 bonus. This dedicated intermodal position operates throughout the Portland and Salem areas, with occasional freight into Washington. Drivers handle primarily short-haul container moves with no driver-assist unloading.

Pay Details

• $1,400-$1,800 weekly pay
• $0.65 CPM
• $22 per stop
• Approximately$44 average per load
• $40 per load for approximately 90% of loads under 50 miles
• $750 incentive every 50 customer deliveries/pickups
• $5,000 bonus
• HazMat endorsement is optional; additional pay is available for endorsed drivers
• HazMat endorsement costs can be reimbursed with a receipt

Job Details

• Dedicated intermodal operation
• Home daily
• Local freight throughout the Portland and Salem areas
• Some freight to Hermiston, OR and Grandview, WA
• Washington crossings are required when assigned
• Washington freight is typically drop or yard-pull work
• Primarily short-haul loads
• No driver-assist unloading
• Intermodal container freight
• Mix ofdrop-and-hook, live load, live unload, and preloaded freight

Shift Details

• Day and night shifts
• Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday
• Daily home time
• 34-hour rest periods as scheduled
• Extra work may be available based on freight needs

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• Must be at least 22 years old
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions
• No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years
• Must meet DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements
• Must be willing to cross into Washington when required
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently for driving, communication, and required documentation
• HazMat endorsement isnot required, but is available for additional pay
