40We are hiring for a Coding & Documentation Education Specialist! This position requires strong expertise in CPT and ICD coding, clinical documentation, and revenue integrity. Ideal candidates bring excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to educate and collaborate with providers and clinical leaders.

Staring salary $59,800 + more for experience!
Fullâtime position, 1.0 FTE (40 hours weekly)
Day shift, MondayâFriday
Travel to regional clinics as needed
Department: MidâRevenue Cycle
Hybrid eligible position(We only accept candidates from WI, IA, and MN)
What you will do:
Deliver ICDâ10, CPT, charge capture, and documentation education to providers and clinical leaders to ensure compliance with payer regulations.
Conduct documentation and coding quality reviews, analyze performance trends, and provide feedback to support accurate and optimized reimbursement.
Serve as a subjectâmatter expert in CPT, HCPCS, ICDâ10, and payer policies, partnering with Revenue Cycle, CDI, and Compliance teams.
Respond to consultation requests by analyzing documentation, coding, billing, and denials trends and providing recommendations.
Communicate complex information clearly through written reports, presentations, and provider education sessions.
What you need:
Bachelorâs degree in a related field
3â4 years of experience in healthcare coding, billing, insurance followâup, or reimbursement
One of the following certifications:
Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
Certified Coding Specialist â Physician Based (CCSâP)
Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS)
Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
Valid driverâs license
