Falls Creek Program Director & Youth Ministry Partner

About the Position

The Falls Creek Program Director and Youth Ministry Partner provides strategic leadership, vision, and execution for Falls Creek youth camp programming and statewide Oklahoma Baptists student ministry initiatives. The position plans and directs programming for youth weeks at Falls Creek during the summer. This role serves Oklahoma Baptists churches overseeing the planning, delivery, and evaluation of transformational camp experiences, youth ministry education, and student evangelism and missions strategies that support churches and associations across Oklahoma. Serving collaboratively with Oklahoma Baptists staff and ministry partners, this role equips and empowers youth leaders, mobilizes students for gospel impact, and ensures excellence in programming, training, and relational ministry aligned with the mission and values of Oklahoma Baptists. The successful candidate must affirm the Baptist Faith & Message (2000).

Position Duties:

Falls Creek Youth Camp Responsibilities include:

• Living on-site at Falls Creek during youth camp weeks during the summer.
• Plan and coordinate the programming for eight weeks of Falls Creek Youth Camp, giving visionary direction to the encampment along with the Executive Director-Treasurer and the Group Leader.
• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate all Falls Creek Youth Camp programming elements with Oklahoma Baptists staff and Falls Creek work group.
• Supervise all youth camp programming and program staff at Falls Creek during youth weeks of camp.

Youth Ministry Responsibilities include:

• Lead collaborator to cooperate with the youth ministry team to plan and coordinate statewide youth strategies.
• Plan, execute and evaluate statewide youth conferences, including Youth Evangelism Conference, The Call Conference, Girls Conference and Fall Back Weekend, and other ministry efforts and emphases as needed. 
• Coordinate and promote state youth ministry leadership network (OKYM Network) and leadership development.
• Be committed to the on-going student ministry of Oklahoma Baptists by cooperating in the execution of selected ministry projects as assigned by the Group Leader. 

Positional Requirements:

• Be an active member of a Southern Baptist church
• Seminary degree preferred; undergraduate degree minimum
• 10 plus years of ministry experience within the local church
