**About the Role** We're seeking an experienced TypeScript Engineer with AI application expertise to join our team. In this role, you will build and maintain AI agents and optimization frameworks written in TypeScript that integrate with DSPy. You'll help create robust, production-ready AI applications that deliver exceptional performance. **What You'll Do** \- Develop and maintain AI agents and optimization frameworks using TypeScript \- Integrate TypeScript applications with DSPy-based optimization techniques \- Build scalable, reliable AI agent infrastructure \- Implement efficient evaluation methodologies for measuring agent performance \- Create developer-friendly interfaces for our AI optimization tools **Technical Must-Haves** \- Advanced TypeScript skills with strong type system knowledge \- Experience building and deploying LLM-based applications in production \- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) implementations in TypeScript \- Proficiency with modern TypeScript frameworks (Node.js, Next.js, etc.) \- Understanding of AI evaluation frameworks and NLP fundamentals \- Experience with prompt engineering and experimentation in TypeScript environments \- Ability to optimize for token usage, cost, and performance in LLM applications **Requirements (Must Have)** \- 3+ years of professional industry experience building commercial applications (internships not counted) \- Proven experience developing and deploying TypeScript applications that integrate with AI/ML models \- Experience building industry-focused, commercial AI applications with real users \- Track record of systematically improving AI application performance \- Experience with full-stack TypeScript development for data-intensive applications \- Hands-on experience debugging complex TypeScript applications in production **Nice to Have** \- Familiarity with DSPy or similar LLM optimization frameworks \- Experience creating TypeScript interfaces for Python AI libraries \- Knowledge of LLM fine-tuning techniques and optimization strategies \- Experience with multiple LLM providers and TypeScript SDKs for them \- Background in creating developer tools or frameworks Apply if you've successfully built TypeScript applications that leverage AI capabilities in production environments and can demonstrate how your engineering skills have created robust, performant AI solutions.
