About the Role

As a Legal Engineer at xMentium, you'll be at the forefront of changing how professionals curate, manage, and use enterprise language. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between legal professionals and technology, developing and refining software solutions that address complex legal challenges in dealmaking and other contexts. Your unique skill set will combine legal expertise with technical acumen, allowing you to implement tools designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of enterprise teams. You will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment where your contributions will directly impact the company’s growth and success, ensuring that our solutions remain at the cutting edge.

Responsibilities

Implement software solutions that automate and streamline dealmaking and other language-based processes for clients.
Collaborate with software developers, customers, and product managers to define requirements, scope, and design of new legal technology features.
Analyze customer processes and workflows to find innovative tech-based solutions that improve efficiency and consistency.
Support sales efforts with customized software demos
Lead the testing and quality assurance processes for legal technology applications to ensure reliability and user satisfaction.
Provide training and support to users, facilitating adoption and offering technical assistance when required.
Stay up-to-date on the latest legal technology trends and advancements to continuously improve our offerings.
Gather and respond to user feedback and recommend enhancements to system functionality and user experience to drive continuous improvement.
Assist with the management of the legal technology product lifecycle from inception to phase-out.

Demonstratable history of customer-centric service
Experience in the Media and Entertainment industry is strongly preferred
Enterprise contracting experience
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and changes in the legal industry
Demonstrable interest in the intersection of law and technology
Any programming experience is a plus
Demonstrable project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
Experience with AI and machine learning in a legal context is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and executives
A collaborative team player with a drive for results and a passion for innovation
Bachelor’s degree; Juris Doctorate or equivalent is a plus
