Our client develops technologies for both internal and external (partnering companies) use. As a Mobile Software Engineer, you will work on our mobile applications with the opportunity to continue to display leadership qualities and take on new problems while delivering high quality and efficient solutions that pushes towards our mission and vision. With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance a number of software solutions.

You'll create the most value and grow fastest with us if you have at least these minimum qualifications. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of experience in mobile development with both Android and IOS (with deployed applications on Play Store and App Store)
5+ years of experience in mobile development design and architecture
5+ years of experience developing and maintaining React Native mobile applications
5+ years of experience deploying large scale mobile apps (including but not limited to streaming applications), with experience in state management and other core React Native concept
3+ years of experience testing, maintaining, deploying or launching software products
Experience with Firebase, MongoDB, and caching mechanisms such as Redis
Experience with the following tools: Git, Jira, containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) , and AWS (e.g. EC2, ECR, ECS, etc.)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge or experience with Expo
Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines and development
Understanding of mobile app testing best practices
Experience in video streaming services and management
Experience building mobile SDKs
Experience delivering time sensitive features
Experience contributing to open-source libraries
Knowledge and practical experience of mobile development, system design, infrastructure and architecture
Ability to speak and write in English fluently
Ability to multitask and clearly communicate goals, progress, and KPIs across various departments both upstream and downstream
