You will lead a team of currently four people, become part of the Vytal Leadership team and directly report into Tim, one of our Founders & Managing Directors. This role will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy as we scale internationally.

Your areas of responsibility:

Continuous business planning, esp. planning, controlling and optimization of budgets and cash-flows
Further development of the Finance function, with a focus on automation and the collaboration with other departments
Ownership of the group accounting, in particular preparation of monthly and annual accounts and the collaboration with tax accountants, auditors and banking partners
Investor relation activities, esp. regular investor reporting of both financial, operational and impact KPIs
Support fundraising of grant, debt and equity financing with on-point analyses, presentations and applications

Your profile and skills:

A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in finance, accounting and controlling, e.g., as Head of Finance, - ideally leading a (small) team in a fast-growing startup with international subsidiaries
Strong ability to perform integrated business planning (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) consolidating group companies
Excellent proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and good understanding of DATEV
Experience with the following software tools is a benefit: ZohoBooks, Moss, Ramp, Gusto, Personio
Strong German and English skills, both written and spoken
Analytical and structured working approach with a passion for challenges
