ViSenze is one of the fastest growing A.I. start-ups and a leader in the development and adoption of image recognition technology. To help us build upon our success, we are seeking a Front-end Software Engineer to build and maintain web applications for our customers and internal users.

The position reports to the Senior Software Engineer and will work in close conjunction with the Product, Algorithm/Data Science and various Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement front-end components and features for web applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them accordingly.
Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using modern frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js).
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices.
Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
Collaborate with other engineers and contribute to a positive team environment.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical issues.
Conduct root cause analysis for issues and implement effective solutions.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with solid foundation in Computer Science
Proven experiences as a Front-end engineer or similar role
Experience in at least 1 front end framework, such as Angular, React or Vue
Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
Experience in writing clean, reusable codes with great testability
A strong passion for learning and adapting to new technologies
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Awesome To Have

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in developing UI libraries by modern front-end javascript framework (preferably Angular)
Experience in browser extension development for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and/or Edge
Knowledge with cross browser testing and debugging
Mobile application development experience, such as building iOS, Android applications and mobile SDKs / widgets / libraries
Experience with server-side scription languages (e.g. Node.js, Python)
