The Opportunity

This is a senior individual contributor role responsible for leading V's advertising sales strategy across Canada.

The successful candidate will be a true hunter, responsible for identifying, developing and closing new commercial opportunities while building long-term strategic relationships throughout the advertising ecosystem.

Your primary focus will be driving advertising revenue through the sale of V's premium Connected TV advertising inventory while developing commercial partnerships with advertisers, media agencies, broadcasters, content providers, media buyers and other strategic partners across the region.

This is a highly visible role with significant autonomy, ideal for someone who enjoys building a market, opening new doors and driving commercial success within a fast-growing global business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead V's advertising sales activities across Canada

• Develop and execute the regional sales strategy to achieve ambitious revenue targets.

• Drive new business development across agencies, advertisers, broadcasters, media owners, content providers and strategic partners.

• Sell V's premium Connected TV advertising inventory through both direct and programmatic channels.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with media agencies, agency trading desks, DSPs, advertisers and media buying groups.

• Identify and develop strategic commercial partnerships that strengthen V's advertising ecosystem.

• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and contract execution.

• Educate clients on V's advertising capabilities, audience reach, premium Smart TV environment, targeting solutions and measurement capabilities.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Ad Operations, Marketing and Programmatic teams to ensure successful campaign delivery and continued client satisfaction.

• Provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management and market intelligence.

• Represent V at industry events, conferences and client meetings throughout Canada.

• Act as the regional market expert, providing feedback on competitive activity, customer requirements and emerging market opportunities.

Experience & Qualifications

We're looking for an experienced advertising sales professional who can demonstrate:

• A proven track record of delivering advertising revenue growth and consistently exceeding sales targets.

• Extensive experience selling advertising solutions within Connected TV, digital media, video, programmatic advertising, OTT, Smart TV or the wider advertising technology ecosystem.

• An established network across leading advertising agencies, media buyers, brands, broadcasters and content companies throughout Canada

• Experience developing new business and building strategic commercial partnerships.

• Strong understanding of the Canada advertising landscape, including agency structures, programmatic advertising and digital video.

• Experience managing complex commercial negotiations with senior stakeholders.

• Previous experience working within Smart TV, TV operating systems, streaming platforms, broadcasters, ad tech or media technology would be highly advantageous.

• Experience within an international business is preferred.
