Job Summary: The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving the growth of Trustflow Payments by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and developing strategies to increase our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development within the financial services or technology sectors, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and fostering long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities:

Conduct market research to identify potential clients and market trends.
Develop and implement strategies to attract and acquire new clients.
Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation activities.

Client Relationship Management:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target organisations.
Understand clients' business needs and propose tailored payment solutions to meet their requirements.
Provide ongoing support and ensure high levels of client satisfaction to foster long-term partnerships.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

Develop and execute sales plans to achieve business growth objectives.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales and marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with the product development team to provide client feedback and contribute to product enhancements.
Participate in industry events and conferences to promote Trustflow Payments and generate new business leads.

Reporting and Analysis:

Track and report on sales activities and results, providing regular updates to senior management.
Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the financial services or technology sector.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong understanding of payment solutions and financial technology.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
