As we continue growing our portfolio, we’re seeking a dedicated 2D Spine Animator to help bring characters, UI, symbols, and VFX to life with style, personality, and polish.

Responsibilities

Own the Motion – Help shape and maintain each game's animation style and overall motion direction.

Animate for Impact – Create high-quality animations for characters, props, environments, symbols, icons, logos, and promotional assets.

Casino-Ready Animation – Develop game-specific animations such as win effects, symbol loops, transitions, anticipations, and UI feedback.

Rig Like a Pro – Build and maintain Spine rigs (bones, meshes, weights, constraints) and optimize them for real-time performance.

Collaborate Across Teams – Work closely with designers, developers, and producers to ensure animations enhance gameplay, meet technical constraints, and align with schedules.

Stay Organised – Maintain clean file structures, naming conventions, and proper documentation for all animation and art assets.

Support & Adapt – Create additional art or animation assets when needed to keep production flowing smoothly.

Elevate Workflows – Help improve animation pipelines, tools, and processes to boost efficiency and consistency across projects.

Share Expertise – Provide guidance, best practices, and constructive feedback to teammates and external partners.

Champion Quality – Ensure all animations meet the artistic direction, technical requirements, and performance standards for our games.

Requirements

4+ years of professional experience as an Animator within the social casino, iGaming, or gaming sector.

Strong proficiency in Spine for 2D and 2.5D animation, including rigging, constraints, and optimization.

Working knowledge of game development workflows, pipelines, and technical limitations.

Skilled in Adobe Photoshop for asset preparation, cleanup, and paint over work.

Ability to animate across multiple styles, realistic, casual, stylized, and everything in between.

Proven experience animating characters, UI elements, symbols, VFX, and background elements.

Strong foundation in animation principles: movement, timing, weight, anticipation, follow-through, and anatomical understanding.

Self-motivated, well-organized, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment with multiple disciplines.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently when needed.

Portfolio / demo reel required Only applications with animation samples demonstrating Spine proficiency will be considered.
