Superside is a leading Creative-as-a-Service provider, and we believe in the power of data and AI to enhance the experience and services we provide. We’re seeking a Director of Data and Insights to develop and execute a data strategy that incorporates AI and machine learning into all aspects of our business.

In this role, you will lead a team of data scientists, data analysts, and data engineers. By using data insights, you’ll get to develop data-driven creatives that deliver superior results for our customers, while optimizing our workflows and increasing efficiency.

As Director of Data and Insights, you’ll work closely with our remote creative team to build a culture where insights inform every decision and new ideas are constantly being generated. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our data solutions are effective, user-friendly, and aligned with our overall business goals.

What you'll be doing

Lead the Data & Insight function to leverage talent and operational data to design a strategy that drives our creative performance and outperforms our competition through insights and machine learning
Own Superside’s data and insight strategy, while collaborating closely with department leads, senior management, and directors across the company to define, prioritize and execute data initiatives
Manage the data roadmap and work with stakeholders to ensure it aligns with the company's goals and objectives
Lead the push toward and enable more data-driven decision-making at all levels — from strategic topics to operations, recruiting, and performance
Recruit, manage, grow, and lead a team of top-talent data engineers, scientists, and analysts, all while designing and owning their career paths and professional growth

Our ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by scale-ups and has a proven track record of developing and implementing successful data strategies that drive growth and innovation.

Superside’s tech stack: Superside’s backend is fully written in Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot 2, Hibernate, RDS / MySql, Radisson/Redis, Junit for testing, ElasticSearch, and our frontend is NodeJS, Lambda Edge, Next.js/ React, Styled Components, Typescript, we also use Datadog and TrackJS for monitoring. On our infrastructure, we use Terraform, AWS SQS/SNS, Cloudfront, Route53, EC2, S3, WAF, Parameter Store, ALB, Docker, Pusher, Mailgun and are using Gitlab as our DevOps/CICD platform.

Backend:Kotlin and Spring, and our frontend is Typescript and React. We use Terraform to manage our infrastructures and deploy Docker containers to ECS, use Datadog and TrackJS for monitoring and are using Gitlab as our Devops/CICD platform.
