Smart Build is a general contractor specializing in multifamily renovation work for owners, property management companies, and REITs. We have been expanding in the North East and are looking for additional support in our inside business development team.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a driven Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team at Smart Build. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in developing new opportunities throughout our service areas in various states. The inside sales member must have previous business development experience in multifamily or hotels

Responsibilities:

· Initiate and manage outbound cold calls to prospective ownership groups, introducing our services and scheduling free consultations

· Conduct compelling and persuasive phone presentations to highlight the unique features and benefits of using our company

· Schedule and conduct virtual meetings for leads generated through cold-calling efforts

· Maintain accurate records of all interactions and follow-ups in the CRM system

· Collaborate closely with the projects team to attend and provide pricing on projects

· Continuously seek new leads and opportunities through cold calling and other proactive outreach methods

· Follow up with clients after bid submissions and close sales

Qualifications:

· Business Development within multifamily industry is required.

· Proven experience in inside sales, preferably with a focus on cold calling and lead generation

· Excellent communication and persuasion skills, particularly over the phone

· Self-motivated and target-oriented with a strong work ethic

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment

· Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant sales tools like Zoho, Apollo, Sales Navigator, Lusha is a plus

· Knowledge of fair housing laws and leasing practices is preferred
