About Us: SHE'S GOT NEXT is a nonprofit professional women's network dedicated to elevating women's sports in Canada and opening doors for the next generation of female athletes. Our mission is to bring visibility, funding, and introductions to women athletes by showcasing their achievements, fostering community, and promoting gender equity in sports.

Position Overview:Join SHE'S GOT NEXT as our Social Media Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative of women's sports through our network. You'll lead the social media strategy for our Road To Nationals Women's Basketball program, amplifying content about Canada's top U-Sports athletes and teams as they march towards the national title. Your work will be instrumental in inspiring fans and players to engage in women’s sports and support their peers, creating a legacy of empowerment and success.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy Development: Design and implement a dynamic social media strategy that aligns with SHE'S GOT NEXT's mission to elevate women’s sports. Ensure high visibility and engagement for the Road To Nationals Women's Basketball program through innovative content and storytelling.
Collaboration and Partnerships:Cultivate relationships with Usport teams, players, and comms teams local media, sports organizations, and community leaders to amplify their coverage and expand the reach of our initiatives. Promote women's basketball and our mission within a growing network of supporters.
Community Engagement: Build a vibrant online community around women’s sports by actively engaging with followers. Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm to foster a sense of belonging and support.
Analytics and Reporting:Utilize tools such as Google Analytics and platform-specific insights to track and analyze social media performance. Prepare insightful monthly reports to share progress and refine strategies based on data-driven insights.
Event Promotion:Develop compelling promotional content for events related to the Road To Nationals Women's Basketball program, including games, meet-and-greets, and community outreach activities. Drive attendance and awareness to maximize impact.
