Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this role is a key technical position focused on developing and enhancing augmented reality experiences for the WorkLink AR platform. The ideal candidate will be a highly capable software developer with experience building mobile applications using Unity and AR development toolkits, and a passion for creating intuitive, high-performance user experiences. ### Key Responsibilities * Designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications and AR experiences using Unity and related AR frameworks. * Building and enhancing features for the WorkLink AR platform across mobile and wearable devices. * Integrating applications with backend services, APIs, and cloud-based systems. * Optimizing application performance, reliability, and usability across supported platforms and devices. * Collaborating with product, design, QA, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. * Troubleshooting and resolving bugs, performance issues, and platform-specific challenges. * Researching and implementing best practices in mobile and augmented reality development. * Contributing to architectural decisions and technical improvements within the mobile development stack. ### Requirements * Experience: Proven experience in developing mobile applications using Unity and C#, as well as experience using AI-driven coding tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, etc. * AR Development: Experience with AR development frameworks and toolkits such as AR Foundation, ARKit, ARCore, MRTK, Vuforia, or similar technologies. * Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of mobile application development principles, UI/UX considerations, and cross-platform deployment. * Problem Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills with the ability to solve complex technical challenges. * Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve common goals. * Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality. * Curiosity: Strong desire and commitment to learning the latest tools and technologies, enabling continuous improvement in efficiency and product quality. * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience. ### Nice to Have * Experience developing applications for HoloLens, Magic Leap, or other wearable AR/MR devices. * Familiarity with cloud computing services, specifically Azure and AWS. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated mobile deployment workflows. * Knowledge of 3D graphics, rendering pipelines, and performance optimization techniques. * Experience integrating AI-driven functionality into mobile or AR applications. ### Why Join Scope AR Working at Scope AR provides you with the opportunity to significantly impact the way products are created and work gets done globally.
