The Opportunity:

As a Product Technologist you will join the Products Division where your mandate will be to offer exceptional customer service in the quoting, assembly, sales and technical support and troubleshooting of our oilfield-related product line.

Position Title: Product Technologist

Job Type: Full Time - 40 Hours per week

Rate: Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience

Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Main Responsibilities

· Controlling inventory for our product line and related materials

· Purchasing parts for our products

· Assisting with International Shipments of Products

· Building and maintaining relations with customers

· Preparing sales quotes to customers for oilfield related products

· Providing technical support and troubleshooting for customers of sold products

· Coordinating and assisting in the assembly of products as required

· Updating and maintaining drawings for current product line

· Updating and creating manuals, procedures and technical documentation for current product line

Qualifications for Product Technologist:

· Engineering Technology Diploma or equivalent is required

Required Skills for Product Technologist:

· Exceptional Communications (i.e. writing and speaking) skills

· Sales of oilfield or related equipment experience

Required Experience/Education for Product Technologist:

· Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and solid modeling (knowledge of Solid Edge a definite asset)

· Machine Shop and Oilfield related experience would be an asset
