We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Automated Tester to join our team — someone with a solid understanding of software development principles and a passion for improving testing efficiency through automation.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this hybrid role, you’ll work remotely and collaborate in ourvibrant, open-plan Bristol office. Your day-to-day might include:

Collaborating with developers to understand project requirements and define test cases and scripts.
Creating and debugging automated test scripts using modern tools and frameworks.
Executing manual tests to uncover edge cases, usability issues, and hard-to-detect bugs that automation might miss.
Using keen observational and analytical skills to identify, document, and communicate bugs clearly and effectively.
Analysing test results and reporting defects with clarity and precision.
Working closely with the QA team to ensure comprehensive test coverage and optimize testing processes.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of our automation strategy and tooling.

We’re seeking a talented Junior Automation Tester who brings some of the following:

Either a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field, or relevant hands-on experience in software testing or development.
Exposure to automation testing tools such as Playwright, Puppeteer, or Cypress — or a strong willingness to learn them.
Basic programming skills in TypeScript, C#, or similar languages.
A solid understanding of software development and testing principles.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
