Responsibilities

Interpret spoken and written medical information accurately and impartially between patients and healthcare providers.
Attend medical appointments, consultations, and procedures to provide real-time interpretation services.
Ensure confidentiality and professional ethics are maintained at all times in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Clarify and explain medical terminology and procedures to patients and healthcare teams as needed.
Assist in the translation of medical documents and patient education materials when required.
Collaborate with healthcare staff to improve communication strategies and patient understanding.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare policies, and interpreting best practices.

Fluency in English and at least one additional language either (Vietnamese / Ukrainian / Cantonese ) with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proven experience as a medical interpreter or in a related role within the healthcare industry.
Comprehensive understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and confidentiality standards.
Certification or accreditation as a medical interpreter is highly preferred.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and empathetically.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments.
Flexibility to work various shifts and attend medical appointments as required.
