Responsibilities

Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time for all employees, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Administer pension schemes, including contributions, record keeping, and liaising with pension providers.
Maintain accurate payroll and pension records and produce regular reports for management and statutory bodies.
Respond to staff payroll and pension queries promptly and effectively, providing clear and supportive communication.
Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation, tax codes, and pension regulations, ensuring ongoing compliance.
Support year-end payroll processes, including preparation of P60s and liaising with external auditors.

Proven experience in payroll administration within an accounting or HR environment.
Comprehensive knowledge of payroll systems, pension scheme administration, and relevant legislation.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive employee information.
Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with staff and external partners.
