The position will have general responsibility for editing, proofreading, copy-editing, and publishing content forwww.nunarmag.com. The position will perform the following duties:

Feature Writers

Report and write stories that connect readers to youth culture on regional scope.
Profile young artists, influential figures, and major brands

Politics Writers

Report and write stories to provide political news and perspectives.

News Writer

Report and write stories to inform readers of current events and important cultural issues.

Editor (Social Media)

NUNAR magazine is seeking applications for the position of Editor. This is a contingent, 12-month staff position supervised by the Editorial Director.

The position will have general responsibility for editing, proofreading, copy-editing, and publishing content forwww.nunarmag.com. The position will perform the following duties:

Organize original social media content.
Write, edit, proofread, and copy-edit social media posts and captions.
Assemble photos and video clips for Instagram feed posts, including carousel and reel posts; TikTok videos; or X posts.
Plan content calendar.

Intimate knowledge of a regional creative industry
Advanced writing and editing skills in English
Fast and reliable communication
Comfortability with giving and receiving feedback
Passion for contemporary art and cultural trends
Ability to meet deadlines
Reliable access to a computer/internet
Active social media account on at least one of the following sites: Instagram, Threads, X, TikTok.
