Our current tech stack is primarily Python and JavaScript. This role necessitates experience in designing and building cloud infrastructure using AWS. You should be familiar with API Gateway, Lambda, SageMaker, ECS, ECR, and have experience using Docker for containerizing applications. Exposure to IaC tools such as Terraform are a bonus. Knowledge of security best practices is a must, including implementing authentication and authorization (OAuth, JWT, API keys), encryption (TLS, AES), and building systems that are compliant with regulations (e.g., GDPR). Since you'll join us at such an early stage, a lot of our stack has yet to be built. As a founding engineer, you'll be responsible for making a lot of key decisions about tooling and automation we use to power our infrastructure, including CI/CD, monitoring and logging tools, database management systems, orchestration tools, etc. Because your decisions will be so influential in shaping our overall stack, you should be experienced enough as a software engineer to be properly opinionated about selecting the right tools and abstractions to ensure we build robust and scalable services. This requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking.

You’ll balance research with real-world application, taking on the challenge of building robust machine learning models that detect AI-generated content with precision. This is more than an R&D role—you’ll be developing models that ship to production, working closely with the team to integrate your solutions and iterate quickly based on feedback.
