We are looking for a highly skilledSenior Platform Developer to enhance developer productivity and lead API development. This role combines expertise in designing developer tools, improving workflows, and crafting efficient, scalable APIs. You will collaborate with engineering teams to identify challenges, implement innovative solutions, and deliver high-quality software that accelerates development and improves operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain tools, frameworks, and processes to enhance developer efficiency, including CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and deployment automation.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the development lifecycle, optimizing for speed and quality.
Promote best practices in code quality, testing, and software development processes across teams.
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
Implement API authentication, authorization, and rate-limiting strategies to support enterprise-grade requirements.
Create and maintain internal tools and frameworks that improve developer workflows, such as monitoring dashboards, testing frameworks, and code review systems.
Work with DevOps teams to integrate developer tools with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD systems.
Collaborate with engineering teams to gather requirements, address pain points, and align on tooling and API strategies.
Mentor and guide junior engineers in API development, GraphQL best practices, and developer tooling.
Measure and analyze productivity and API performance metrics to drive continuous improvements.
Stay up to date with the latest trends in developer tooling, API development, and emerging technologies.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
6+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on developer tooling
5+ year of hands-on experience in API development
Expertise in programming languages such as JavaScript / TypeScript.
Strong experience with GraphQL API design, schema development, and query optimization.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Bitbucket Pipelines.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
