MileOne Autogroup is growing! We are our now hiring a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor based at our corporate office in Towson, MD.

This position is responsible for the performance of a team of Integrated Facilities Maintenance (IFM) Technicians operating independently in a diverse region of automotive sales and service industries.

Reports to: Director of Facilities Maintenance

Supervises: Assigned Facility Maintenance Technicians and hired vendors

Location: MD, DE and PA metro areas

Main Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the performance of team of Technicians/ Mechanics/ Operating Engineers to perform maintenance and repairs on stakeholder equipment and facilities systems.
Drive and promote safety culture within portfolio including subcontractors, suppliers and visitors. Establish and maintain a safety-first culture by promoting and driving safe work practices timely training, best practices as well as delivering rewards and recognitions to promote safe behavior.
Drive performance as measured by established Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
Establish relationships with facility managers, extended business partners such as EHS leads and vendor representatives to establish trust and credibility in the delivery of Integrated Facility Maintenance (IFM) services.
Resolve Facilities Maintenance (FM) issues at sites under purview, escalating when needed.
Provide engineering and maintenance guidance to technician(s) as needed to ensure proper execution of assigned duties.
Control spending and manage operating expense budgets for the assigned division.
Initiate purchase order requests for goods and services for sites within responsibility.
Manage subcontractors and suppliers to deliver goods and services against contracts and expectations.
Administer training to ensure compliance, readiness and competency of staff.
Act as point of contact with local facility management to coordinate FM activities and ensure client needs are met.
Support the Facilities Director in the implementation of short and long-term projects for the client as requested.
Develop a strong collaborative team-based environment.
Employ MileOne best practices in the interest of exceeding all goals and expectations.

Work with the MileOne leadership to provide the strategy, vision and continuous improvement to drive the advancement of the quality of service delivery and further the client partnership.

Ensure optimal roll out and training in the use of standard Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) tools, processes and systems. Ensure facility technicians are competent in the use of the new tools.
Complete mid and year-end performance reviews on a timely basis. Ensure that individuals working below expectations coached and put on improvement plans. Work with HR to ensure proper performance management steps are taken.
Work with the FM Director to provide employee career growth and development opportunities within the MileOne network. Understand employee career growth aspirations to enable matching of MileOne needs with the employee abilities.

Skills/Qualifications:

Degree in business administration, engineering technology or related field preferred, or 3-5 years direct supervision of multi-building IFM required.
Minimum three years’ experience as a Facilities Manager, Chief Engineer or equivalent including managing teams, budget responsibilities, supplier management, problem solving, and client/ customer relations.
Experience managing remote teams preferred
Ability to align, motivate and lead a team including creating accountability
Possess a solid knowledge of building mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems (MEP)
Experience required using CMMS systems and reporting
Demonstrated communication skills written and verbal including negotiation and conflict resolution
Demonstrated experience in managing 24-7 operations or multi-site locations.
Superior client relationship management skills.
Strategic thinker with strong implementation orientation
Ability to multitask and work without direct supervision
Excellent prioritization and conflict resolution
Proficient in MS Office, and possess strong written, verbal and people skills
Strong organizational skills and collaborative management style needed
