Job description:

## About you: You have a strong quantitative background and ML research experience, a growth mindset and strong work ethic. * Strong grasp of mathematics and machine learning fundamental concepts * Experience implementing deep learning models from scratch, and tuning existing ones. * Work or familiarity with one or many of: NLP, transformers, diffusion models, geometric deep learning * Proficiency in Python and frameworks such Pytorch, Tensorflow, Keras, JAX * You have a growth mindset, are curious, and a fast learner * You have good written, oral and visual communications skills in English * Fluency with Unix environments, AWS/GCP, and GitHub ### Ideal/Pluses: * Experience leading machine learning research project that resulted in a publication, or tools that have been impactful for your previous employer, lab, or other users. * Strong open source or publication record * Track record of impressive work in industry/academia centered on ML / Deep Learning * Background in structural biology, organic chemistry, and biophysics. * Proficiency in QM/MM, molecular modeling, and other computational chemistry techniques. ## About the role: We are looking for candidates who are excited about the opportunity to join the founding team and play an expanding role in the company. Your responsibilities will include: * Developing methods and architectures to predict and design protein-protein interactions * Execute deep learning experiments to improve performance of models or develop new functionality * Work closely with software & ML engineers to build systems for efficient training and deployment of deep learning models. * In collaboration with our wet-lab, designing protein structures and sequences for functional measurement in frequent design-build-test cycles
