You’ll be a part of / leading a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from inception, to deployment to production.

For this position you need to have deep experience with, at least, one programming language, and, preferably, experience with a few more. You also need to have full-stack development experience—front-end (and, preferably, mobile), backend, databases, etc.—and experience in designing and configuring CI/CD pipelines.

As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the development team, ensuring successful project delivery, and maintaining strong client relationships. You will also play a key role in the strategic direction of our product offerings and will be a critical bridge between our development team and our clients.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage teams of software developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment aiming to successful product delivery
Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain the software system being developed in accordance with established standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders, to ensure smooth project execution
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and oversee the development process to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Prioritize and manage the product backlog, making informed decisions on features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure a seamless user experience and align the product design with customer needs.
Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
Package and support deployment of releases.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, addressing concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction.
Understand clients' business needs and objectives, translating them into technical requirements.
Communicate project progress, deliverables, and timelines effectively to clients.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and ensuring repeat business.

Minimum qualifications

Proven experience with leading software teams.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate to stakeholders at all levels.
Committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Experience with Agile software development.
Deep experience with, at least, one programming language and its main frameworks and libraries.
Full-stack development experience, including front-end (web, or mobile, or both), and backend.
Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD), unit testing, and automated testing in general.
Good understanding of evolutionary and incremental architecture, incremental development, and design for testability.
Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Good understanding of database technologies (relational, non-relational, graph, etc.), I/O and networking.
Experience in designing and configuring CI/CD pipelines.
Experience in configuring cloud Infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, Terraform)

Preferred qualifications

Experience with multiple programming languages and frameworks is a plus.
Knowledge of cloud-based Architectures.
Knowledge of secure coding practices (e.g., OWASP).
Experience in Typescript, CSS preprocessors such as SASS, Less, cross-browser compatibility issues and workarounds, JavaScript module loaders, such as Require.js and AMD is a plus.
Experience front-end tools, such as Webpack, Grunt.
Experience with setting up basic web security guidelines in the project.
Experience with clean code, design patterns and principles.
Experience with training, mentoring, and coaching of team members.
