Our boutique mental health practice is seeking anexperienced Practice Manager to run our upscale solo psychiatric practice. This part-time, remote opportunity is ideal for individuals who are adept at managing a fast-paced mental health practice, with a preference for part-time remote work. The position is 28 hours per week. Due to the nature of this position, we are only considering candidates who can provide a long-term commitment.

Applicants should possess exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments. Please note that this isNOT a billing position;nobilling responsibilities are involved.

The hours for this position are:

Monday: 9 AM - 3 PM
Tuesday: 9 AM - 3 PM
Wednesday: 9 AM - 1 PM
Thursday: 9 AM - 3 PM
Friday: 9 AM - 3 PM

Responsibilities include:

Ability to handle heavy phone volume
Scheduling
Texting with patients
Relaying messages between patient and practitioner
Communicating with physicians, pharmacists, hospitals
E-prescribing non-controlled medications
Obtaining prior authorizations
Writing letters
Problem solving
Screening potential new psychiatric patients
Utilizing Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP)
Making sound decisions when the practitioner is unavailable

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (required)
Experience running an upscale private practice
Professional phone experience
Familiarity with controlled substances, mental health, and psychotropic medications preferred
Quiet work environment (required)

Understanding of HIPAA regulations (HIPAA-certified is preferred)
