THE POSITION

We are currently seeking an experiencedTalent Attraction Advisorto join our team on a 12-month contract, based in Edmonton, Alberta.

The TA Advisor will be part of a strategic and collaborative team, working together to ensure we hire the best talent, with the right skills and a shared passion for our values and Purpose to “empower the lives of others today for a sustainable tomorrow”. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our regional strategy in the Heartland and Northern Alberta and will work closely with our local leadership team to ensure we have the right talent in place at the right time to meet our business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work closely with the business to develop a regional talent sourcing and attraction strategy for the Heartland and/or Northern Alberta.
Actively engage and network with external parties including: industry peers, agencies, employee referrals as well as passive external candidates to ensure we have a robust pipeline of future talent to draw from.
Accountable for proactively sourcing talent and developing talent pipelines within the region(s)
Accountable for providing an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
Supporting leaders/hiring managers with the hiring process and candidate selection for all requisitions within the region.
Act as subject matter expert well versed in market trends and recruitment best practices.
Responsible for full cycle recruitment activities from job postings to offer letter generation.
Work closely with Compensation team on compensation recommendations for external candidates.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners and provide support with internal transfers and promotions, as required.
Provide local support for Keyera’s recruitment campaigns including remote location hiring and hiring of roles
Work collaboratively with peers to identify, develop and implement future improvements in Keyera’s recruitment and selection practices.
Work as part of an energized and collaborative team both supporting and being supported by colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 8 years of industry experience that is blended between field or corporate recruitment and/or agency experience.
Experience recruiting for roles pertaining to the Oil and Gas Industry and site operations in Alberta would be highly preferred.
Formal education and or certification as a Professional Recruiter (RPR) considered an asset.
Remote area/camp recruitment experience would be a strong asset.
Customer focused and motivated to enable the achievement of Keyera’s strategy through attracting the skilled resources we need who live our culture with intention and achieve safe results.
Motivated to form and build lasting relationships by regularly visiting our facilities, actively participating in Keyera events, as well as proactively meeting with referrals and other external candidates.
Desire to be well versed in Keyera’s business and understand how the individual business units and sites work together to achieve Keyera’s vision to be the North American leader in delivering energy infrastructure solutions.
Collaborative team player that can work independently when required.
Highly organized with ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and requests for support.
Demonstrate a high level of discretion with sensitive and confidential information.
Flexibility, adaptability and creativity are all critical to long-term success.
Ability to travel and stay at remote site locations as required.
A valid driver’s license and ability to provide 5-year standard driver abstract (clean driver’s abstract).
